Need some inspiration?

I received inspiration this week when I least expected it.  I was attending a meeting that included a talk from a 71-year old man I did not know.
His talk focused on his daily routine.  You see, he is a very successful businessman and has credited his success to persistence and luck.  This man has humbly done his job for the past 30 years by knocking on people’s front doors.  And he still does it today!
There were many things he said that were inspiring, but what touched me the most was his unrelenting focus and persistence.  Frankly, I could use more of it myself.
His underlying message was to get clear on what you want, then find your own path and your own way of doing it.  (I’ll add, using your God given gifts and talents).  And do it everyday.  Show up consistently and be persistent.  And eventually, you’ll find success.
How many people do you know that actually do this day in and day out?
Yeah, me neither.  Until this gentleman.
But can it be that simple?  To just create a course and stick with it?  (With tweaks and corrections from your learnings).  If it’s your passion and you’re clear on your why,  I believe it is.
So, what is it in your life that you want to see, but have been afraid to go after?  How will you feel in 10 or 20 years from now if you don’t try?  “But what if I fail?”, you may ask yourself.
But what if you don’t?
We’re all on borrowed time.  We know that life is short and the end is unknown.  So why do we insist on living small?  As if we have all the time in the world?
Be different.  Be Bold.  Create your path.  Live fully.  Let the world experience you.  And watch how many people You Will Inspire.
You can Emerge Positive!
All my best,
