Learning to like who you are right now.
I’ll be the first to raise my hand and admit there are days when I’m really hard on myself. I set up expectations that are nearing perfection and get down on myself when I don’t meet them. Why is it that we expect so much of ourselves in comparison to others? We would never treat a good friend the way we treat ourselves. So why do we do it? I’m a type A, so I like to set goals and routines. But to what end? Self love needs to enter into the equation. It’s ok not to be perfect. Welcome to the club. Compassion, liking who you are right now, and giving life your all each day from a place of love….these are the goals we should live by. You can Emerge Positive.
