Getting frustrated? Focus on progress.
Boy do I need this reminder today. As I navigate through January and do my best to stay on task with my goals, I find that the idea of perfection is not my friend. Do you ever let the idea of perfection derail you from your goals? For example, thinking that if you can’t do it perfectly (like staying on a specific diet) then you shouldn’t do it at all? Instead, make the decision to just do better. You don’t have to be perfect. Just try to be better than you were yesterday. It’s about growth here people. Stop the comparisons, stop the negative talk and stop expecting yourself to be perfect!! None of us are….and the quicker you embrace that, the faster you’ll start enjoying your life. You can Emerge Positive!
