Forgiveness is not condoning behavior, it’s for you.
Forgiveness can be a hard thing. I think that’s because we believe that if we forgive someone, we condone their behavior or action. But that’s not true. Forgiveness is for you. Forgiveness is about letting go. Hanging on to anger and resentment is like pouring acid into your body. It eats away at you and causes further pain and oftentimes, illness. Don’t do it.
