If you’re feeling lost or that life feels a bit out of control, it’s time to focus on your foundation. Because you can’t build up without steady ground. Our foundation is made up of the basics: food, exercise, sleep and our emotional state (or stress level). Take the weekend to clear your mind. Relax. Breathe. Remind yourself that this too shall pass. Take walks or go for a swim. Eat healthy and light foods. Drink lots of filtered water. Get to bed early and sleep for 7 to 8 hours (or longer!). To build up, we must first make sure we have a sturdy foundation. That means you must take care of yourself. Don’t put this off. Focus on the basics and then build. Emerge Positive®
